For more than 40 years, Gulf Coast Regional has proudly served Bay County and our surrounding communities. With more than 1,200 employees and 600 physicians, our fully accredited healthcare facility strives to provide state-of-the-art technologies and best practices in evidence-based care. Currently, our acute beds include a 20 bed adult intensive care unit along with a 4 bed pediatric intensive care unit. Gulf Coast Regional is certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area’s only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Our hospital offers a variety of services including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular and interventional services. Gulf Coast Regional provides the only Pediatric ER in the area and the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the region. Our expanded emergency services include our new freestanding ER, Panama City ER. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Panama City ER is located on Highway 231 just north of Transmitter Road.
